For_Immediate_Release:
Sweden's Lagerbäck missed yet another opportunity to pull a Svennis when he neglected to take Andreas Hjerth's recent form in Laxey FC's (Isle of Man) reserve team in to account when selecting the players for World Cup 2006 in Germany.
It was believed that with the other Swedish marquee players struggling that the time was ripe for Andreas Hjerth to make his national team debut, similarly to Walcott for England.
Andreas Hjerth was recently spotted at the fateful Spurs - Hammers game this Sunday seated in the West Ham vip section. It's unclear whether a contract has been offered or if Mr. Hjerth trained with the club beforehand.
Given the midfielder's knack for scoring on long range shots and experience in several prestigious international leagues such as the Swedish 4th division for Mantorps FF and in Americas NCAA div 2 for Ashland University the premier league wouldn't present any challenges that Mr. Hjerth can't handle. Of course now that it's clear that West Ham has shown interest perhaps a bidding war between some of Europe's bigger clubs will ensue.
