Körv a la Nicke

2 körv
2 beers for cooking, the darker the better (make sure you have at least one more beer to drink with the food.)
1 onion
4 small taters
something green like spinach
few cloves of garlic
salt n pepper to taste, a handful of peppercorns for the pot

Start the charcoal grill.
Cut the onion in chunks, peel the garlic, put all the ingredients (except the spinach)in a pot on medium high till it boils then lower to a simmer.

When the coals are ready (after 15 minutes or so) put the sausages on and lower the heat on the pot and add the spinach.
If you time it right the potatoes will be done at the same time the spinach is wilted and the sausages properly grilled.
Serve sausages on a bed of spinach, onion and garlic surrounded by potatoes. Pour on some of the beer. To be enjoyed with a cold beer, I had Tuborg.
